It's been way too long!

I apologize for the lack of blog since (gasp) February! As you will see, we've been really busy since then. Here are some of our favorite moments from the past few months.

Playing catch with Jeremy at a Mercyhurst spring training game.
Visiting the Lake Worth street painting festival, the largest in the country.

One of her favorite outfits - Daddy's yellow mesh shorts cinched at the chest.

Playing with Nicky at a Baby Day playdate.

Picking strawberries at our local hydroponic farm.

On the hunt for more berries with Mariana.

Mariana wanted to see how far she could get in the water without getting her dress wet.

That was a short-lived challenge.

And, since Mariana removed her clothing for pool time, Ava did too.

A windy trip to the beach.

Marcus got one-0n-one Wang lessons from Uncle Ryan.

The cousins in their new swimming attire.

We had the pleasure of dog-sitting Bandit and Browser for a long weekend. Bandit was pampered all weekend by the little miss. She even lent him her blankie for his nap time.

Ava and I were invited to a friend's daughters' birthday party at Barrel O'Monkeys - what a great place!

Swinging with Kiki on the rings.

Enjoying another Baby Day with friends' kids - between the four of us we have 6 kids all 2 and under.

Helping Max pick up spilled ice cubes.

Possibly an advertisement for Kawasaki?

With potty training going strong in the Bogert household, no one is immune - not even the dolls.

Lyla gets her own potty lesson.

Playing with a hollowed out tree stump near our cabin at Fort Wilderness in Disney.

Meeting the draft horses was soooo coooool!

Time for afternoon tea with Grandma.

Up bright and early on a Sunday for the Danskin triathlon with Sarah, Bridget and Mom.

Whew. Glad that part's over with!

And whew! That was a lot of pictures!

Whew! A jam-packed month so far!

FINALLY! PLAYDOH!!! :)
Stretching like Daddy before an afternoon run.

The Anderson's invited us to join them for a weekend at Middleton Fishing Camp on Blue Cypress Lake. Brent wanted to go on a photo excursion and we were looking forward to taking Ava on her first camping adventure. The forecast looked a bit chilly for tenting, so we went cabin-ing instead. It turned out to be an excellent idea since it got down into the upper 30's at night!
When we first arrived, Lyla and Ava busied themselves with playing.

A snuggle in the sun on Saturday morning.

After breakfast, and renting a pontoon, we layered up to head out on the lake. Ava wore two pairs of pants, two shirts, a jacket, hat, and my mittens.

Snuggled up to drive the boat with Daddy.

Who wouldn't love that face?!?! :)

Lyla-bean was equally layered and equally cute.

When we stopped for a brief fishing break, Ava took the wheel.

Blue Cypress Lake was stunning. Rather windy and cold, but stunning. In the background you can just make out a blue heron. We saw dozens upon dozens of osprey and had birds serenading us at every stop.

Learning to reel with Daddy.

Lyla didn't want to be left out and climbed up to see what Ava was up to.

When we were underway, Brent manned the bow and was on the lookout for great photo ops.

It was even more windy on the return trip, so we cuddled under some blankets.

Lyla enjoyed a bottle and simultaneous snuggle.

Fast asleep once we got back to the cabin.

We didn't want to wake her up!

Once bedtime arrived, both girls took full advantage of the air mattress we brought. The cabin was one large room with an adjoining bath. Two single beds were pushed together for Brent and Nicky. Each girl slept in their own pack n' play, and Ryan and I had the air mattress. There wasn't a lot of room, but we had a GREAT time!

There was a care package awaiting our arrival. Ava loved her new outfit and wore it the next day to her class at the Y.

Legs crossed for a DVD.

This past Saturday we headed to Ryan's aunt and uncles for a family get-together. Ava really enjoyed playing with Kayla (4 1/2) and all of Kayla's toys.

At first she wasn't sure what to make of Uncle Jim, but warmed up quickly when she got to man the camera.

Cookin' in the kitchen with Kayla.

Always the fashionista!

Ryan and I really enjoyed our long weekend together. We took Ava to the Y on Monday and spent an hour in the pool. Wrinkled fingers for all!

She was a champ - lots of kicking, splashing, jumping, and being tossed in the air. Needless to say, she got lots of compliments from the elderly folks doing water therapy!
