A full week!

During my first week of Spring Break, Ava and I lived it up! Monday - played at home; Tuesday - Boca Art Museum and lunch; Wednesday - story time at the library; Thursday - play date with two sets of twin boys; Friday and Saturday - errands; and a relaxing Sunday with a trip to the park for lunch!

Showing me she's ready for her morning nap. :)

On Thursday we also made a quick stop at school and walked over to the beach with Flat Stacey.

Thursday's play date was so much fun! Mari is on the left with her boys Nick and AJ (a week and a half younger than Ava). Danielle is on the right with her boys Max and Penton (5 months).

Ava and Nick.

Chasing after Django.

Resting on the dog's pillow. She has a habit of doing this a lot. She'll take the pillows off the couch and lay on them. :)

Mari has a cool coffee table that's perfect for little ones to crawl into.

And what a cool rocking elephant! Squeals and laughs, squeals and laughs!

Daddy worked from home on Friday and had a tough time going back into the office after getting some smooches from Miss A.

Yesterday afternoon, Ryan was working in the garage and Ava wanted to go out and see him. Every time she hears one of his power tools, she says 'Dah...dah...dah.'
A quick peek-a-boo video!

We have another full week in store! The zoo, story time and another play date! :)

March madness!

Ava's new favorite hobby is pulling out our bins of shoes in the front hallway. She's obsessed with shoes!

The weather has been so beautiful that we have the screen door closed at the front of the house. In this picture, she was trying to get a good look at the dogs that were barking across the street. She's obsessed with those as well!

On Friday, the 12th, I took the day off so that we could drive up to Melbourne to see Dave and Carolyn and go to a Yankees game. Unfortunately the game got rained out, but the next day was beautiful. Ava and Carolyn found all sorts of fun things to look at out on the deck.

A brief walk on the beach with Grandma before the drive back to Delray.

She LOVES crawling on our backs. :)

Hmmm...let's see...she had spinach, yogurt, and carrots for dinner. :)

Today was gorgeous so we spent some time on the back deck. She can't get enough of the swing and squeals and squeals when she's pushed.

Ava's latest 'trick' is standing up without holding on to anything. Most of the time, however, we have to ask her how big she is in order for her to let go! :)

This one is precious! Ryan was sitting with Ava while she had her snack. Here's the priceless moment I caught on video.

March has begun!

Ryan was doing some chores out by the pool and Ava plastered herself up against the sliding glass door to get a good look. It was pretty cute.

On Wednesday, after going to story time at the library with Grandma, Ava and two friends had a play date at the playground. It was a little chilly, but they all had a great time.

On Saturday, Sal, Robyn and kids made the trip down from their timeshare in Orlando. Hunter and Taylor watched Ava's every move and supplied her with a mound of toys at every opportunity.

We attempted to hit the beach, but it was pretty blustery so we went to school so the kids could run around on the playground and soccer field.

Loving this grass stuff!

Taylor was very nurturing. :)

Hunter was really excited to try on Ryan's welding gear. We also got to watch a video of him being trained to be a Jedi at Disney. Really cute and he said that he used the force to move our TV.
He also told Sal and Robyn that Ryan and I kissed at every red light on our drive home because we were married and in love. I guess he didn't make the connection that his parents are in the same boat! :)

On Sunday we made a quick stop at Ryan's aunt and uncles. His cousin and her daughter, Kayla, were there as well, so Ava got lots of attention.
