Holiday vacation - installment #2

We spent a week in the Adirondacks at our camp on Brantingham Lake. Our time was spent mostly indoors, since temperatures ranged from the single digits to the 20's. The pics in this installment are from our indoor time early on in the week. Our ventures into the outdoors will be displayed in the next blog.

This is the view that Ryan and I awoke to on our first morning at camp - sunshine and a snow covered lake.

Ava slept downstairs in the bunk room with her cousins. When she woke up in the morning, Mariana got up and played peek-a-boo with her and made shadow puppets on the wall to keep her happy until Gretchen brought her up to the loft to see me. Then we got to cuddle in bed until it was time for breakfast!

After her morning duties in the bunk room, Mariana was all about helping with everything else that Ava did. That included bath time in the sink!

And feeding time! I love Mariana's face in this picture. :)

One of our first nights at camp after the kids went to bed - a night of wine and games.

A visit to Boonville to visit Grandma Ace.

Making a batch of Christmas cookies with the help of Ryan and Gretchen.

Ava loves Auntie Gretchen!!!!

Dad and Marylou came up for a day during the week, helped make and frost cookies, took the kids sledding, and read stories with Miss M.
