This is the view from our loft window when we wake up in the morning! Looks may be deceiving...while it seems like it would be a beautiful (and warm) day, it was, in fact, quite chilly. We spent most of the day inside doing a puzzle, while Ava watched with feigned interest.
She and I did take a walk in the afternoon, but I bundled her up since it was still pretty breezy. This little sweat suit was Mariana's and is a little snug on my little bug. Apparently, Mariana was much more slender than our dear Ava. :) 
I have a sneaking suspicion that Ava is going through a growth spurt. Don't let this photo fool you. While it looks like she sleeps like log, she woke me a couple times during the night to nurse noisily. I'm just glad that she's a sweet girl most of the time. When she does cry, it seems quite out of place and I'm not sure what to do with the alien that has taken over her body. I'm hoping this growth spurt phase is temporary and she starts sleeping through the night soon.
We're off to visit the Wilson's this afternoon via the boat. It should be a bit of an adventure seeing as there are whitecaps on our lake. We'll have to bundle her up yet again. Where is the nice summer weather we were hoping for?!? I only have so many outfits with pants that I can put her in!
