Ryan and I have two baby carriers, one that is getting too small for our big girl and one that she can't quite wear yet. My sister told me about the Moby wrap and it arrived yesterday. It's 5 meters of fabric that wraps around the body and holds baby close. Ava's first experience wasn't the best (she spit up all over the Moby and me). But her second try worked like a charm. She fell asleep a few minutes after being placed in the cradle hold and I carried her around for awhile. I barely felt her...no back pain, no weird positions...it was great. I could even go to the bathroom and work on a jigsaw puzzle! :)

We spent the day inside. At times, the rain was so heavy that we could barely see across the lake. Don't worry, Gretch, this was definitely NOT a dock day so you didn't miss a thing. Ava took a long nap with Grandma which made last night's sleeping pattern a little abnormal. She woke up at 7 today, but was back asleep soon after an 8 o'clock feeding.
I see blue skies and sunshine, so maybe today will be a dock day. Keep your fingers crossed! :)
Loving the pictures and it looks like you guys are having such an amazing time! Our time is coming to an end on Saturday! When do you guys leave? if you need a place to stay on your way down you are more than welcome to stay with us!
