We had an exeptionally busy week! On Monday, we traveled to Boonville to see Grandma Hutton (94). She was really excited to meet Ava and Ava did not disappoint. She smiled, grinned, wiggled and kicked for two hours and kept Grandma Ace smiling too.

On Tuesday, we had some more friends and family visit. And on Wednesday, I went with Gretch and all the kids to see Dad and MaryLou in Old Forge. A bunch of Obies met us there for a great afternoon: Bob and Susan, Eileen and John, Karen and Len, and Ned. Our cousins, Tyler and Jesse, came too. I hadn't seen them in years and it was great to spend time with them.

Thursday was meant to be a 'dock day' because the forcast said the weather was supposed to be nice. Well, the weatherman was a day off. We spent an hour or so down on the dock before it began to rain and the rain kept up the rest of the day. Carolyn came by for margaritas and to see Ava, of course. She was convinced that babies didn't like her...until she held Sweet Baby Ava! :) Karen and Len stopped by too and stayed for taco dip, dinner, and slush cake for dessert. YUM!

Gretchen, Lu, and the kids left today....boo hoo. Camp just isn't the same without them.
Today was gorgeous, but we spent most of it in Lowville trying to get Ryan feeling better. A trip to the Urgent Care clinic for some antibiotics and then a trip to the hospital for a back x-ray...a fun day had by all. :(
We ended with a nice dinner out at the Trailside. Ava will get her first taste of fish fry at our next breast feeding session. Ryan's prescriptions and self-medications seems to be doing the trick, as he is sleeping like Ava as I write this. I'm off to bed soon too and hoping that Ava's busy week has caught up to her and she'll sleep through the night. Tomorrow's weather looks a bit gloomy, but we'll try to make the best of it.

Meeting Grandma Mary (93).

Ava fell asleep immediately after being zipped and buckeled into her life jacket. She took her first ever boat ride across the lake to visit Grandma Mary.

Meeting Grandma Ace in Boonville. She couldn't get over Ava's smiles. :)
